What We Do

Omaha Elite Kettlebell provides the highest standards in kettlebell instruction in group classes and personal training designed to improve movement quality, strength and overall fitness.  In operation since 2008, we are Omaha’s longest standing source of StrongFirst certified kettlebell instruction and have safely trained students from ages 7 to 88.  We teach the techniques and supporting principles while enforcing movement quality and safety to help you achieve your fitness goals.

We also offer intensive one-day user courses to teach the fundamental kettlebell techniques – swing, goblet squat, Turkish get up and military press.  This is an excellent introductory course for coaches and trainers, as well as for those who want to brush up on kettlebell skills or who are training for certification.  It is also an excellent choice for individuals who want learn about the movements and advantages of training with kettlebells.  User courses are offered periodically at Omaha Elite Kettlebell or we can even host a course at your location.

WHY THE KETTLEBELL?

Despite our name our focus is not on the kettlebell, but first on moving well, then on moving well with strength to help you reach your specific goals or just be strong and healthy enough to tackle whatever life throws your way. In addition to the kettlebell, we use a variety of other tools including barbells, pull-up bars, bodyweight movements, ropes, foam rollers, TRX suspension training, Indian clubs, and jump ropes. The kettlebell is one tool in our arsenal, but it is our favorite tool due to it’s simplicity, versatility, accessibility, portability, fast learning curve and other unique advantages that the kettlebell provides. No other single tool allows you to get so much done as effectively and safely, in any location, and in so little time.

QUALITY –
We offer StrongFirst Level II Kettlebell Certified Instruction – the highest standard in kettlebell instruction under the founder of the modern kettlebell movement, Pavel Tsatsouline. Our instructors also either currently hold or have previously completed HKC, RKC, RKC II, CK-FMS, FMS, SFL (Barbell) and SFB (Bodyweight) certifications.

SAFETY –
Your safety is important to us.  Proper technique is vital both for your safety and for maximizing results.  This is why our instructors consistently invest in furthering their own education through advanced kettlebell instructor workshops and regular re-certification. We have taught over 4000 group classes without a single injury.

In addition to being taught how to progress and regress every movement we teach, our instructors are FMS (Functional Movement Screen) certified. This means we know how to identify, prioritize and correct movement pattern issues that decrease training effectiveness and increase risk of injury. For example, we recognize that the ability to touch your toes, reach overhead, and squat properly impacts performance and affects injury risk for even the most elite athletes. The FMS helps identify your needs to move better for safe and effective training. We introduce movement progressions, then use a combination of kettlebell, bodyweight, and barbell techniques to increase your strength and help you achieve your fitness or performance goals.

EXPERIENCE –
We have offered certified kettlebell instruction since 2008, working with students from 7 to 88 years of age.  We have also developed many certified instructors, hosted local courses and workshops and have had the honor of being invited to assist several instructor certification courses around the country. Prior to teaching kettlebell, our head instructor brings over a decade of experience in teaching movement through martial arts to student of all ages.

AUTHORITY –
Omaha Elite Kettlebell is an official licensed provider of the StrongFirst Kettlebell User Course given to only the top 3% of certified instructors worldwide.

PASSION –
We are passionate about training and helping our students reach their goals and become stronger and healthier for life.  We are also passionate about our own training.  The StrongFirst training methods and principles have helped our instructors achieve life and body transformations and in turn, they want to help others achieve the same.

We offer group classes six days per week taught by SFG & FMS certified instructors.

Personal Training (One on One & Small Groups)
We also offer individual and small group personal training allowing us to individualize your training on a schedule that is convenient for you or your small group of friends, family and/or coworkers.
